I liked the brief for this Character of the Week: "Design an armor for an MMORPG character, using insects as inspiration". It was simple and straight to the point and gave me a chance to focus purely on the design, something I love to do.

Barbarella and Fallen Archangel Samael

These are two paintings I did for the Character of the week challenge on Conceptart.org.

The first one is a Barbarella redesign. I took a slightly darker approach than what the brief asked for, which was campy sci-fi. I felt that this type of design would be better suited in a modern day remake of the classic 1960's film.

With Fallen Archangel Samael I experimented quite a bit with different textures for his body and really tried to push my knowledge of anatomy . I love working on darker themes such as this one.

Hello,

This blog will be a place for me to share my personal and professional artwork. Few the past several years I have been creating all my artwork digitally in Adobe Photoshop, a tool I have used exclusively since my days as a Compositor in the Animation industry.

Currently I am working full-time for Ironclad Games as a Concept Artist, and have been doing so since 2008. They are a great group of people, very creative and professional, and getting paid to draw everyday is a dream come true.

In my free time I participate in the Character of the Week (Chow) challenge on conceptart.org Its allot of fun, and gives me the opportunity to try out new techniques and ideas.

Here's a few Chows to start things off:
